Parsing and correction happen entirely in your browser. After you download, anonymised session data (speed, HR, power, cadence, altitude) is stored to improve the service — GPS coordinates are never uploaded or stored. We never sell or share your data.

How it actually works.

PARSER

Multi-format file reading

Re-Track reads the binary and XML structure of .FIT, .TCX, and .GPX files directly in your browser. It extracts the real values stored in the file — not a summary, the actual data.

You edit, we rebuild

Change any stat and Re-Track writes a new, valid file with your values baked in — ready for Garmin Connect or Strava.

Correction stays in your browser
