Works with every GPS device
How it works.
4 Simple StepsUpload your file
Drop your .FIT, .TCX, or .GPX file onto the page — no account needed. Works with any Garmin, Wahoo, Coros, Polar, or Suunto device.
We read your file
Re-Track instantly parses your activity and shows you the exact stats stored in the file — distance, time, elevation, heart rate, speed, and more.
Fix what's wrong
Correct basic stats or go deeper with advanced tools — adjust the timestamp, strip private fields, fix power, change device info, cut sections, or remove data spikes.
Download to Garmin Connect
Download the corrected file and upload it straight to Garmin Connect, Strava, or TrainingPeaks exactly like any normal activity.
Fix any stat in your activity file.
Every field your device got wrong — corrected.
Distance
No GPS lock or riding indoors? Enter the actual distance and the file is updated throughout — every lap, every trackpoint.
Duration
Forgot to stop the timer? Correct the total time so your pace and speed calculate correctly downstream.
Elevation
Barometer went haywire? Fix the total ascent so your climbs are accurately recorded in Strava and Garmin Connect.
Average heart rate
Sensor dropped out early and dragged your average down? Set the correct value and the file reflects your actual effort.
Max heart rate
Unrealistic spike ruining your stats? Override it with the actual max from your session.
Calories
Device estimate way off? Adjust the calorie burn to something that actually reflects your effort.
Speed
Fix average, moving average, and max speed fields individually — or remove them entirely from the file.
Start time
Wrong time zone or clock drift? Shift the activity start time with a calendar picker — all timestamps update proportionally.
Your data never leaves your device
All parsing and file generation happens in your browser. Your raw GPS data is never sent to a server.
7 advanced editing tools.
Beyond Basic FixesGo further than correcting stats. These tools give you precise control over exactly what ends up in your file — all included for free.
Section Remover
Cut any portion of your activity by dragging on an interactive chart. Remove a wrong turn, a stopped lunch break, or a sensor blackout — the rest of the file stitches seamlessly.
Field Stripper
Remove specific fields — GPS coordinates, heart rate, power, speed, calories — before sharing. Essential when uploading to social platforms where you don't want every metric public.
Time Adjuster
Change the date and time your activity is recorded as. Fix activities that started in the wrong time zone, or correct a device that had a drifted clock.
Power Adjuster
Multiply all per-record power values by a correction factor. If your power meter was mis-calibrated during a session, apply the fix and every watt scales proportionally.
Sport Changer
Override the activity type stored in the file — cycling, running, swimming, hiking and more. Controls how Garmin Connect and Strava classify and display the activity.
Device Changer
Override the manufacturer and device model stored in the file header. Choose from 150+ brands and device types to update what Garmin Connect or Strava shows as your device.
Peak Remover
Set a threshold for heart rate or power and any data point above it is stripped from the recording — cleaning up sensor glitches without touching the rest of the file.

Why Garmin, Wahoo and Coros users need Re-Track.
Every broken GPS device file has a story. Here are the most common ones.
Indoor ride with 0 km distance
Garmin, Wahoo, and Coros devices record trainer sessions without GPS. Re-Track lets you enter the actual distance so it uploads correctly to Strava and Garmin Connect.
Forgot to stop the timer
Added an extra hour to your activity? Fix the duration field and your pace, speed, and effort scores recalculate automatically across the whole file.
GPS didn't lock in time
Started riding before your GPS fixed? The first few minutes of distance are missing. Enter the real total and the file is corrected throughout.
Heart rate spike from bad data
Optical HR sensors can produce wild spikes. Use the Peak Remover to strip any reading above a threshold without affecting the rest of your recording.
Sharing without your location
Heading somewhere private? Strip the GPS coordinates with the Field Stripper before sharing — the file still has all your stats, just no route.
Removing a stop from your ride
Long coffee stop inflating your time? Use Section Remover to cut that portion out of the recording entirely — the timestamps stitch together cleanly.
Common questions.
All FAQs arrow_forwardWhy is my distance showing as 0 km?
This is the most common reason people use Re-Track. It happens when your device recorded an activity without GPS — an indoor ride on a trainer, a treadmill run, or any workout where GPS didn't lock. Upload the file, enter the correct distance, and download the fixed version.
Does it work with Wahoo, Coros, Polar, and Suunto files?
Yes. Any device that exports a standard .FIT or .GPX file works with Re-Track — Wahoo Elemnt, Coros Vertix/Apex, Garmin Edge/Fenix/Forerunner, Polar Vantage, Suunto 9, and many more. If your device exports .FIT or .GPX, you're good.
Is Re-Track free? Do I need an account?
Completely free, no account required. Upload, fix, download — nothing else. If Re-Track saves one of your activities, consider buying a coffee to help keep it running.
